USC Gets 100% Passing As Eleven Grads Hurdle Chemist Licensure Exam

A perfect mark was achieved by graduates of Class 2010 when they all passed the 2010 Chemist Licensure Examination held last September 7 and 8 at the Manuel L. Quezon University in Manila.

The new Carolinian chemists are Jayfe Anthony A. Abrea, Shane C. Baluran, Paul James Q. Campogan, Marechar M. Emnacen, Farrah Mae R. Hiramis, Andrie Lou L. Ilustrisimo, Mary Pauleene C. Jimeno, Noemae E. Lim, Osmar S. PestaƱo, Michelle J. Romo, and Christine Beth C. Tabasa.

USC is the only institution with five or more examinees to get a 100% passing percentage. The national passing percentage is 56% (338 out of 603 examinees). This marks two consecutive years where consecutive batches had 100% passing. Last year, Class 2009 also had a 100% (4 out of 4) passing mark.

The Oath of Profession will be held on October 23 at the Cebu Northwinds Hotel at 6 pm.
